Some times you just have to cut loose and not be so serious. This was one of those times. This was an experimental piece where I was trying to use up some old metallic acrylics I had kicking around the studio. After a few layers of heavy dripping and splatting textures created and dried, I took the board with some paint and water out onto the lawn and played a giant game of one man frisbee. After the lawn was sufficiently gold and purple, I let the board dry and then airbrushed a water drop on top. This type of piece was a lot of fun and a great stress relief.
