Made Up
My brother Justin was teaching make-up for a college in Toronto and had me booked to come down for a spring day and shoot his students final projects for the term. Each of the 17 students were responsible for supplying a model for their master piece and I had to supply 3 fully processed pics to each student. Over the course of 5 hours I took the 17 models and students, one at a time, out into the downtown streets of Toronto to shoot their portfolio pieces. Traditionally the school used their studio for the shoots, but I am a die hard outdoor shooter using the best light source there is…..the sun. I wasn’t going to be cooped up in a bland white studio with these wonderful creations. While I was dragging the models through the streets I would jump around cars, posts, people and hot dog carts and lay in the street and bushes to get the shots for the students. This model only had to step around the corner into the shade when I yelled “Don’t move!” and jumped up on a stairwell to get this up close and personal shot.
